This fall the township engaged the services of the Henry County road maintenance department to cut back tree limbs and vegetation along the township roads right of way to permit unobstructed passage of vehicles on the roadway and berms.
The township trustees are in the process of preparing for snow plowing of township roads. The trustees are preparing a list of snow plow drivers who will be scheduled to plow snow as needed. The township snow plow policy states that roadways will be plowed when snow depth on the roadway surface is at 2 inches and/or snow drift conditions require plowing. The township tractor is equipped with a snow blade and will be used as needed to keep roadways passable.
The roadsides in the township will be mowed one more time before cold weather arrives.
